Arlo Guthrie was born with a guitar in one hand and a harmonica in the other, in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York in 1947. He is the eldest son of America's most beloved singer/writer/philosopher Woody Guthrie and Marjorie Mazia Guthrie.
Arlo practically lived in the most famous venues of the "Folk Boom" era. In New York City he hung out at Gerdes Folk City, The Gaslight and The Bitter End.

Love Unlimited was a female vocal trio that provided backing vocals for American R&B soul singer Barry White on his albums and concert tours. They also found success with their own recordings. Formed in 1969, the group included Barry White’s future wife,Glodean James, her sister, Linda James, and Diane Taylor.

Lee was born and raised in the small town of Wilson, North Carolina,one of 4 children. He spent his adolescence years singing in church and listening to R&B Artists such as James Brown, The Temptations, Eddie Floyd, Otis Redding and the classic sound of 60's Memphis. He joined a few racial balance groups in the South and began playing college circuits that included East Carolina University, Duke University and Georgia Tech. By the late sixties, Lee began his singing career, working with bands which would lay the foundation for funk music including Kool and the Gang, Sammy Gordon and the Hip-Huggers, and Little Royal.

Sky Saxon (vocals) and guitarist Jan Savage formed the Seeds with keyboardist Daryl Hooper and drummer Rick Andridge in Los Angles in 1965.
While their singles were garage-punk, the Seeds attempted to branch out into improvisational blues-rock and psychedelia on their first two albums, "The Seeds" (1966) and "Web of Sound" (1966).

The Motions from The Hague were one of the bigger groups of the 1960s Dutch beat explosion. They were formed in 1964 from the remnants of Ritchie Clark and the Ricochets and went on to become hitmakers for the next several years.The emphasis was on rather lethargic soul-rock ballads.

Nehemiah Curtis "Skip" James (June 21, 1902 October 3, 1969) was an American blues singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter. James was born near Bentonia, Mississippi. Skip James' sound was unique and although he influenced other blues musicians, Robert Johnson being among the most notable, few have been able to recreate his style.
