Stand! is the pinnacle of Sly & the Family Stone's early work, a record that represents a culmination of the group's musical vision and accomplishment. Life hinted at this record's boundless enthusiasm and blurred stylistic boundaries, yet everything simply gels here, resulting in no separation between the astounding funk, effervescent irresistible melodies, psychedelicized guitars, and deep rhythms.
Did the 13th Floor Elevators invent psychedelic rock? Aficionados will be debating that point for decades, but if Roky Erickson and his fellow travelers into inner space weren't there first, they were certainly close to the front of the line, and there are few albums from the early stages of the psych movement that sound as distinctively trippy, and remain as pleasing as the group's groundbreaking debut, The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators.
Classic funky soul album from Atlantic records in 1971.

Very good psychedelic country-folk by Beau Brummels.
In 1968 producer Lenny Waronker had the band in Nashville to record "Bradley's Barn." Actually, at this point the Beau Brummels were down to just two members, vocalist Sal Valentino and guitarist Ron Elliott. Joining them on this album were two of the finest sessions musicians in Nashville, guitarist Jerry Reed and drummer Kenneth Buttrey (both had worked with Bob Dylan). The end result is that musically the group sounded as fine as it ever had, if not better, albeit now playing country rock instead of folk/psychadelic.
Just amazing!

Fleetwood Mac is the self-titled debut album by the rock group Fleetwood Mac,
released in 1968.
It is a far cry from the crystalline rock that is found on their later albums, Fleetwood Mac (1975) and Rumours (1977). This album offers straight-ahead British blues. The vocals are shared between Peter Green and second guitarist Jeremy Spencer.
